Rhacophorus
reinwardtii
is one of the prettiest frogs of Borneo, but rarely seen due to its
life high up in the canopy. It descends only to breed in permanent
forest ponds.
The species is said to be an inhabitant of primary forest. However, we have also found it species in secondary or distrubed forest.

The call is a low chuckle; some might say, resembling a
woodpecker.
