Sticky Frogs

Small, terrestrial microhylid frogs with sticky skin secretions and loud voices. Almost 20 species are currently distinguished with the potential with many more species to be discovered in the future. Their distribution covers the Greater Sundas, Philippines and southeast Asia up to China.

The identification of Bornean species is difficult due to the insufficiently worked out taxonomy and the presence of undescribed taxa that do not fit current identifcation keys.
