Asian Bullfrogs

Small to medium size, terrestrial or arboreal microhylid frogs with plump bodies. The English name refers to the loud, deep voice of some of the bullfrogs. Species of this genus have a wide distribution in southeastern Asia. More than a dozen species are known but research has uncovered that many more species need to be distinguished based on genetics, morphology, and ecology.
